WHY MUZZLEBREAKER?

We gunners are very proud with our gun, rocket and missles. Our basic weapons (be it field or airdefence) are guns. Therfore gunners bikers are fond of using our gun's muzzlebreak to show our strength. How about locaters, they don't have guns? Do they have small arms weapons, then they have a lot of it (may be, it is not muzzlebreak).
